Belinda generates her work through a neurodivergent lens, using various techniques and mediums to create her visual language. Her work is a distillation of her research into place/space(s), the phenomenology of architecture, the politics of viewing and perception, and the observation of an embodied response to place/space(s). Her work is site responsive, treating the architecture as a prompt for her work. She draws on an embodied attention to the power structures at play within the space. Working across ceramics and photography creates a multitude of perspectives on the exploration of place/space(s). By employing processes that challenge a fixed point of view, her work explores the tension between the two mediums.
